i woke up this morning to the horrible news and felt sick to my stomach. over 50 casualties in a lgbtqa+ bar in orlando florida on latinx night. this was targeting gay and latina individuals. this was a hate crime. shootings have become the norm in the united states and people are becoming numb to the numbers. 50 casualties. 50 innocent, 50 loving, 50 hopeful lives were ruined. this was a hate crime. due to the ignorance of few, things like this continue to happen. we need gun control, or lives will continue to be lost. my thoughts and best regards to the family and friends of the victims. do not forget. this was a hate crime. and we can’t keep glossing over mass shootings. we need change.
